From severe domestic abuse, CPTSD and agoraphobia — to one of the UK's leading voices on workplace wellbeing.
Sadie's body of work is shaped as much by what she has lived as by what she has studied. She rebuilt her life from inside post‑traumatic growth and has spent the last fifteen years turning that lived experience — paired with rigorous evidence — into work that organisations actually feel.
With an MSc with Distinction in Workplace Health and Wellbeing from the University of Nottingham, her research has explored presenteeism, behaviour change, psychological culture, leadership dynamics, the effectiveness of workplace stress interventions, digital overload, and burnout.
As Group CEO of Phoenix Horizon Group, she leads an international portfolio of specialist brands focused on building sustainable, healthier and high‑performing workplaces. She is a co‑founder of the Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards and a regular contributor to professional, industry and policy discussions on work, leadership and wellbeing.
Her journey resonates because it is honest. Her work lands because it is evidence‑led. The combination is rare.
